Florence Cement Company provides concrete paving services for MDOT, cities, counties, municipalities, and private development projects throughout Michigan and beyond. Our concrete paving operations are focused on delivering durable, high-performance pavements that meet strict project specifications and long-term service requirements.
Our experience includes concrete paving for roadways, airport runways, intersections, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, shared-use paths, drive approaches, and ADA-compliant infrastructure. All work is performed by an experienced union workforce with a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and safety.
Florence Cement Company operates five (5) portable concrete batch plants, allowing us to produce concrete on-site for large-scale and schedule-critical projects. This capability enhances quality control, reduces haul times, and ensures a reliable concrete supply, particularly on MDOT, BNA and municipal projects.
As an active member of the Michigan Concrete Association (MCA) and the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), Florence Cement Company remains aligned with current concrete materials, paving practices, and industry standards.
